HEALTHCARE
Healthcare at Little Lab Pals
At Little Lab Pals, the health and well-being of our Labrador puppies are our top priorities. From the moment they’re born, every puppy receives expert care, close monitoring, and a nurturing environment to ensure they grow into happy, healthy companions.
Comprehensive Veterinary Care
Each of our puppies is raised under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian. We follow a thorough healthcare protocol, which includes:
Regular wellness exams
Vaccinations appropriate for age
Deworming starting at 2 weeks of age
Flea and tick prevention (as appropriate for age and environment)
Microchipping (optional based on buyer request)
We keep detailed health records for every puppy, and you’ll receive a complete health history when you take your new best friend home.
Born with Care. Raised with Heart.
Our puppies aren’t just bred — they’re nurtured. From day one, each little Lab receives round-the-clock attention, beginning with early veterinary checks and gentle socialization to build a solid foundation for life.
Behind every little Lab is a team dedicated to:
-
Healthy starts with vet-supervised care
-
Up-to-date vaccinations & deworming
-
Parasite protection using age-appropriate methods
-
Microchipping for permanent peace of mind
Genetic Health Testing
Our breeding dogs are carefully selected for temperament, structure, and genetic health. We conduct health screening and DNA testing for common Labrador Retriever conditions, such as:
Hip and elbow dysplasia
Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA)
Exercise-induced collapse (EIC)
CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy)
These tests help us ensure that we’re breeding puppies with the best possible start in life—both physically and behaviorally.
Healthy Start, Happy Future
Before going to their forever homes, all our puppies receive:
A thorough vet check
First round of vaccinations
Preventive deworming
Starter food and care guide
We also offer a health guarantee for added peace of mind. Our goal is to match every family with a puppy that will thrive for years to come.
Your puppy’s health journey starts with us—but continues with you. We’re always here to answer your questions and support you even after your puppy goes home.
